WELCOME… Mr. CLS Andreas Jorns
Today is the day to present to you one of the future CO-author of our beloved blog… :-) German photographer Andreas Jorns.
Let me tell you a little story. On a very regular basis we are getting questions about camera settings for the Nikon system. That’s because we are photographing with Canon. Why? Because we do! You all know we don’t like those silly fights about the “right brand”. Nikon, Canon… Nikon, no Canon… better Nikon… Canon…blablabla… as long as the camera got a M-mode. :-)
But eventually there are some big and significant differences between the systems: the naming of the functions, the buttons, the arrangements or simply the way it works. You can talk about the easiest things and never be understood, because the technical details we are using are simply not correct. Best example. The Tv-mode with Canon is the S-mode for Nikon!
That’s were both ends merge. Andreas Jorns has been photographing with Nikon now for many years. I asked him to do a regular series about the CLS-system. We are doing a lot of work with the TTL-automatic. But I do want to present it to all of our readers, no matter whether they are using Nikon oder Canon.
We plan to present the CLS system to you STEP BY STEP. So, keep reading our blog… :-) the upcoming posts will be highly interesting! :-)
By the way, Andy is also a very good nature- and landscape photographer. He is travelling the whole world all the time and he just can’t stop making fantastic photos. :-) Good opportunity to get to know how to take better landscape pictures.
PS: Andy is also a German photographer. So it will take some time until the posts about the CLS-System are translated into English. But it will be translated. So no worries.
